When building @zorzound.eth I was planning on using GPT a lot more, but I forgot to implement it so I kept wondering why it didn't return me the values I wanted. So I kept building and tweaking the algo to generate lyrics and songs. Eventually my algo became an 8000 lines of messy code that generated it's own lyrics fully autonomously selecting sentiment and themes based on volume and price impact. Selecting and prioritising words.. Some examples below

As a solo dev building ReplyCast, it's hard to keep up with SO many different things that can go wrong in your app/mini-app. Here are some bug fixes that improve ReplyCast's UX: - @bilalmotiwala found a bug where having dark mode actually made everything darker 😆 Now, you get to have the same experience with light/dark mode. - @thegoldenbright found an issue with the sorting and scrolling. Now it's smoother than before. Here’s where we are at with Castkpr: With video! So the chat can now create vaults, and organize casts into vaults from analysis. My topics seem to be a bit sparse on the “interesting content” realm. I wonder if there’s a way to fix this up. Also, notes could be helpful. Basically like a place to take notes just in general. You spend so much time in here. Could make that time even more useful. I should have put the video in @pinetree . Next time!

prior to finding my dream gig at @aptos i was a FT crypto contractor. i’ve worked behind the scenes for many different projects - several of them here on the purple app. i was even fortunate enough to work alongside burr for a hot minute. working with crypto startups can be incredibly fun and inspiring. here’s a short list of some random unsolicited advice and learnings from my experiences: - know your strengths and where you bring value, but be ready to pitch in across the board - don’t be afraid to slide into DM’s for a gig (oh hey @bob 👋🏽) but do your research first - be familiar with their product / app and ideally be an active user before you approach - bias toward action. crypto teams move fast. if you aren’t high agency you likely won’t last. - think in memes and metrics. good narratives and fast feedback loops. - don’t be afraid to move on if it isn’t a good fit - embrace the ambiguity. chaos will reign supreme. best to be ok with that early on. - be a doer. crypto has enough “idea guys”. execute and make a good name for yourself and maybe you too can one day be an idea guy. what advice would you give to others diving in to work with crypto project teams?
