when i talk about groupies, price always comes up.
people remember what they paid, or how much the floor's dropped…
and we know it, everybody knows it — almost no 2021 NFT project has held its prices over time, no matter how hard they tried.
it's been 4 years already.
so i personally invite you to forget what you paid (you're in a completely different place now anyways).
instead, judge the work for what it is — and how it makes you feel.
because the truth is, whatever you spent back then, you spent it because you saw the art and thought "shit, these are are fucking vibe".
because there was nothing else like them.
because nobody else was doing animated pfps.
because you spent countless hours, mesmerized, looking through them on @opensea.
because no other project made you feel nostalgic and sooo ahead of the curve at the same time.
groupies are fucking dope, dude.
