Last night I caught myself doing a jiujitsu move I’d only seen Ottavia Busia-Bourdain do and instantly missed her. She and her partner are both incredible grapplers, but disappeared from the scene 5 years ago. It was really special to train alongside them. I’m reminded that whenever you are in a room of special people it won’t last forever and you should take advantage of it.

Did a jiujitsu exercise last night where I had to fight a big guy with a limited moveset. I couldn't make any headway, but kept seeing moves I could've done if I had the flexibility. Another example of how when you're a small upstart, flexibility, creativity, and playing to your advantage is everything. Otherwise you will get crushed by the big guys.
