Today I got a random getmain post under a gif I posted. So I dug a bit deeper and found a whole channel of spam and bot farming. I then clicked a channel (listed below) and ran into an entire farming ring of “motivational content and scraped images.” I know we have talked about this a lot yet this is the first time I had one of them to my knowledge try and engage with me on a comment of a comment. So obvi they know how to game the system here. How can we make sure they are removed from getting rewards please and thank you. This channel is one of many that I and others can find. There are relative much Farcasters in Nigeria, and besides the US, Europe and Southeast Asia, the largest group (nr. 8 from all countries). I'm surprised (read: I don't know anything about Africa), so I asked ChatGPT. If a Nigerian is reading this, or someone who know more about Nigeria, let me know if this is correct 🙏. The reasons, by ChatGPT: - It's the largest English-speaking country in the world (330M), besides the US and India; - A young population; - Strong social media culture, especially Twitter (small step to FC); - more than 50% have internet, and is relative cheap; - Africa's largest economy and largest tech-startup-scene (“Silicon Lagoon” in Lagos); - Strong crypto adoption. On the chart, by occasion, the exact geolocation for every Nigerian caster.

Saveourwallets.org The US campaign to ensure that we have rights to use and develop self-custodial wallets. Very relevant for all Farcaster users and developers. If Clarity Act makes the activities regulated (think KYC), it will be over for Farcaster.

Apparently I didn't have a DAU chart, but now I have. But separated by spam labels, and added MA20, MA50, MA100 and MA200 for the trend. No new insides, and that's good: spam label 2 is up, and spam label 0 is down. However, pay attention to the engagement: 76.4% off all engagement is from spam label 2 atm!!!
