when recording the /risingtide podcast, most of my responses are off-the-cuff in-the-moment and reactionary. so i leave each episode thinking "i must've sounded like an idiot" and then i listen to the episode once @dkleine finishes the editing and i feel a sense of relief because i sounded better than i thought i did. every episode is an emotional rollercoaster ride for me. 🤣

"investigative journalist" is used quite liberally today. 🤦🏻‍♂️ confirmation bias "journalism" is so wild. and it seems to be a more apropos description based on what i've been reading.
