The Everywhere Computer
Edge compute that runs everywhere — your local machine, the cloud, and everything in between.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but... it seems obvious the future of compute is destined for "local enclaves" as the root of execution and authority. Stretch "local" beyond you in a single location, to the places you most frequently inhabit, and people you most often exchange info with. Stretch "enclave" beyond a single isolated SoC to an foam of secure & dynamic subnets overlaying the physical networking layer. Those "local enclaves" will be the locus of compute. Helping *everybody act now* on the value and inevitability of this trajectory is still quite hard. Pursuing "local enclaves" means doing it the hard way. Throwing secrets blindly into earth scale networks is convenient. Large orgs (govs, corps, institutions) see the existential risks of proprietary cloud reliance and global compute supply chains. SMBs face an attention and expense headwind from a long tail of walled garden SaaS. Individuals and their close groups have no sense of firm place. The threat is not distant. It is clear & present.
