Took some time to reflect on one year of @cooprecs Covered our origin story, @optimism RetroPGF, @boostxyz + @layer3xyz, products like @boombox + @sonatatips and events like the Midnight Diner. An onchain record label is more than just putting music onchain. It's about building a community and a culture that transcends both worlds - and creating a system for the two to amplify one another. I'm extremely proud of the 300+ songs we've released but its really just the tip of the iceberg. Our next chapter is about bringing everyone closer to the source and fully aligning the incentives. Thank you to everyone who's collected a song, used our products or come to an event. Super proud to welcome ODESZA to @cooprecs This act is such a defining part of my music journey. I've seen them 25+ times over the course of the last decade and their music and live shows have redefined the way we think about electronic music and it's potential to reach a mass audience. We're starting with two of their most iconic songs from In Return - "Say My Name" and "Sun Models" which speak perfectly to the nostalgic energy we're looking to curate. Onchain music has a longggg way to go but moments like these make me feel like we're on the right path and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
