Onchain Record Label. Collect Music. Earn Rewards. cooprecords.xyz

Took some time to reflect on one year of @cooprecs Covered our origin story, @optimism RetroPGF, @boostxyz + @layer3xyz, products like @boombox + @sonatatips and events like the Midnight Diner. An onchain record label is more than just putting music onchain. It's about building a community and a culture that transcends both worlds - and creating a system for the two to amplify one another. I'm extremely proud of the 300+ songs we've released but its really just the tip of the iceberg. Our next chapter is about bringing everyone closer to the source and fully aligning the incentives. Thank you to everyone who's collected a song, used our products or come to an event. I feel like I've learned more in this last year than any year previous and could not be more stoked for what the future has in store! https://paragraph.xyz/@coopahtroopa.eth/coop-recs-anniversary

the story behind the “Like That” demo is my favorite way i’ve ever written a song I was in hawaii on a writing trip I could only bring to life because of the support i’ve received onchain (!!!) we were writing two songs a day. after song 1 we were about to head to dinner. my cowriter and i split up to get ready, and my producer sat down in the living room and started a beat. by the time we were dressed, he had the track fully produced. we jumped onto the couch, and i threw down some gibberish melodies that felt right we exported that version, hopped in our jeep, and drove through the mountains, playing it on repeat and talking through lyric ideas as the sun set behind the island we wrote over fruit cocktails and fish at a restaurant next to the ocean. by the time we got home, the song had written itself, and i punched in the vocals in the room that was it. the demo i’m sharing tonight is that version the energy, that drive, the freedom i felt, it’s all in there and now it’s onchain <333
