Pretty fascinating watching Clout pivot to Believe and focus on launching appcoins instead of creator coins. Definitely a way stronger target audience - these apps will be around for a decent amount of time and "betting" on them early makes sense. Problem is none of these app founders are crypto native and probably have no clue what kind of cesspool of holders they're going to drum up *if* the token ends up being succesful. So you get some extra revenue from swap fees and now you have this new class of users who don't actually care/use your product, they just want to profit off your future brand success and get mad at you if you don't constantly shill something that the founders probably have no clue about in the first place. Pretty amazing experiments happening in the wild tbh

The constant internal debate about everything becoming a token being a good thing or not Definitely still midcurving but there's a lot at stake here. My biggest worry is that we bring a new wave of creators onchain under the guise that they should coin everything, they get burned, leave, all their coins go down 99% and we repeat what happened in 2021 with NFTs but now its 2026 and the taboo word is memecoin instead of NFT But then I think it's really the only logical path forward - coining everything is the fastest way to modernize markets for media, probably the best business model right now and 0.01% of coins will pop off and make headlines. I've built a ton of trust with artists that we're doing right by the way we release their songs onchain. There's no volatility and no way where their fans could get burned. However it leaves a ton of potential upside/volume on the table - but that volume isn't from real fans, its from degenerates who want to dump on real fans *if* they one day start buying. /fin

So much more at peace with selling tokens to dollars and cashing out to a bank account these days. Historically I've always gotten way too greedy about keeping ETH/SOL in the system and thinking I'm gonna be able to parlay it. These days whenever I get a good airdrop or make a good trade my habit is to sell 50% to USDC and immediately bank it. Has lead to a way more stable mindset around crypto volatility and a very strong sense of gratitude seeing magic internet money hit the checking account

There will be many different ways in which content is posted onchain. The same way how there's written content, long-form, short-form, vlogs, snaps, audio, etc Each platform will have their own approach on how to tokenize media. Audiences will dictate how the content is valued but as a creator its important to remember there are many ways to release and distribute your content across multiple platforms - the same way you post a video across many different platforms today. We are still in the early early innings here but feels like the recognition that all content is coming onchain is being discussed far more than ever before which feels like a really positive step in the right direction to me

Wen mass adoption? When we stop FOMO-ing into the next $BUTTCOIN and shilling it to the greater fool. We do realize that WE flood their (normies) timelines with shitcoins & scams. The media just amps it. We are the noise. So, why would they come onchain? /believein except memecoins;-) They are Moloch, tokenized.

Strong article by @bfg Wondering if FC mini apps are the UI/UX breakthrough he mentions? Wen are we there? Leading examples? Please discuss esp. y'all builders on /base "On-chain consumer apps will struggle to gain traction without a new UI/UX context. There is no app today that is usable for the mainstream consumer without handholding from someone. Everything still feels slow, complicated and empty. Plus the risk of loosing funds. Web3 apps are still low value outside of "experimental value" for early adopters."

Coming to the realization that stablecoins are crypto's killer use case and it's only a matter of time before every app is pricing things in USDC and not ETH or SOL. Question is who's willing to add extra friction for all their existing crypto-natives in favor something that makes 100x more sense of real people.
