A peek at what we’re up to at /bunches:

• We currently are a network of 100s of 1000s of very active sports fans. 
• Each of them have a non-custodial multichain wallet, embedded on device. 
• We’ve built infra that allows us to generate transactions and have users sign and broadcast.
• We’re already working with teams in the NFL and NHL as well as brands like Underdog and EA Sports.

What’s next goes crazy.

How we build product at /bunches – the 4D process:

• Dream – brainstorm - what could this thing be?
• Define –  spec – what should this thing be?
• Develop – build – something from nothing
• Deliver – launch – put it into the hands of users

Two learnings this week:

• Professional sports teams are actively deprioritizing Twitter. I've heard this verbatim from both /nfl & /nhl teams this week.

• Nielsen ratings are the primary quantifiable metric for gauging fandom. It's no secret that regional TV is dying. This is an awkward position for teams.

I love seeing random comments like this on Bunches. 
For obvious reasons. Sports fans deserve better.

We grew by 6,000 sports fans last week. For perspective, that's more than our entire base just over a year ago. 📈

Yesterday, I was working with @jacobvs.eth on our onchain infrastructure involving meta-transactions & user operation execution.

Today, it's cosine similarity search between embeddings for our sports AI.

Great piece on streaks. We’ve had them on /bunches for a while and it’s a game changer.

We also treat users who hit a 90-day streak as all-stars. They’re in a dedicated community (we call it Club 90) with me.

It’s WILDLY valuable to have your app’s power users in a single place for product feedback & ideas.

Product

Breakout, pie-expanding, crypto-enabled apps are possible now that we have usable passkey-based web wallets on the way.

Web wallets make the Internet 10x better.

While, like @kyle, I’m excited for the new infra, you don’t need web wallets or passkeys to build pie-expanders. 

IMO what we’ve needed isn’t smart accounts, but meta transactions and paymasters.
