Black Stone Sanctuary
A goddess-centric polytheist monastery-bootstrapping project by Danica Swanson and Trish Deneen. We call it "contemplative animism with a goth nesting instinct."

A moon-centered practice that I've brought with me from spiritual groups I worked with in the '90s/'00s is to set distilled water in a closed container outside at different moon cycles while I'm doing a ritual/meditation practice to become imbued with the energy of that moon cycle. You can then use that water to create gem/flower essences or for solitary or group ritual. One thing I do is use it as a devotional offering to deities. I'll do this with the upcoming dark moon. This practice is really about intent. So if you can't put the water outside, place it near a window or near you in your ritual space while you're doing your working, contemplation, or meditation to get the same result as above. I formerly did massage and energy work for a living for a decade and will sometimes charge the water with Reiki or Run Valdr techniques. You can also use runes or other symbols that resonate with you. Do you have any lunar traditions you'd like to share?
