Hey there, AlfaFrens, time for a FAFO-nomics experiment update! As I shared the other day (see QC in thread), I unstaked 740k $AF from my channel to open up a prime long-term staking opportunity for my subscribers. The goal? Shift the value to my frens while still keeping my own staking reasonably profitable. Just before unstaking, I was netting ~57k sparks. After reallocating my $AF to other creators, my net flow is now ~49k sparks. Slightly lower—but it creates space for my subscribers to earn more while allowing me to support others, as well. To me, that’s a win-win. Every time I help my frens to profit, either through creating an opportunity for them or supporting them directly, it’s a step toward making my presence in this space more sustainable. Now the question is: Will the internal market efficiencies kick in as expected? Will this open gap attract new stakers and subscribers? Only one way to find out. FAFO continues.

Hey AlfaFrens, it's FAFO-nomics time again! If you’re looking for a strong, sustainable place to allocate your $AF, now’s the time. I’ve unstaked my 740k $AF from my own channel and don't intend to self-stake going forward—opening up a prime long-term staking opportunity for my channel's subscribers. This aligns with what @0xfran has said many times: self-staking isn’t always the best use of $AF. When V2 launched, I self-staked to ensure incentives for re-subscribing. Now that the channel has enough subscribers to generate market-average returns at 1m $AF staked, it makes more sense to free up that staking opportunity for others. With this move, subscribers now have an attractive place to stake large volumes, and the gap could also attract new AlfaFrens users looking for a solid staking spot. Based on past FAFO-nomics trends, internal market efficiencies should ensure the gap fills, keeping returns competitive. As for me, it frees up my $AF staking to resume supporting creators I believe in.
