My wife’s family is Somali but she herself has not only never been to Somalia she has no interest or curiosity about it all. I’m dying to go because the idea that it’s crazy and dangerous is so interesting to me whereas those are exactly the reasons she considers it insane and a waste of a vacation and would prefer to visit Paris. It has been explained to that this is attributable to the fact I am a Sagittarius and she is a Taurus.

Hah, exact same situation here, except my wife is Ethiopian (they have a lot of civil unrest rn.)

Oh she was born there, and has been back with her family before I met her. More so me who wants to go, but the timing is not right.
