interesting content can’t just be short form videos, aesthetic photos, elites dunking on each other, connecting with your IRL friends, or any other market already captured and at scale has to be something you can’t get anywhere else: being early, emerging scenes, groups of geeks largely free of mops and sociopaths

frames led to the biggest surge in interesting content. curious why development went in many other directions instead of doubling down on reducing their limitations

Did they though? I think frames are cool but a lot of the usage was just people trying stuff out cause they were curious and most of it ended up being pretty gimmicky (or at least not sticky) Don’t think they produced interesting content, most of the popular frames now are stats frames for shitcoin tipping

it was something new you couldn’t experience anywhere else, so would consider them interesting content experimentation slowed down over time due to frames limitations, which is why I’m wondering why they chose to work on other features instead of doubling down
