The state of the trenches is abysmal right now, disgusting levels of crime and greed. We need better tools and better token design that aligns stakeholders longer-term. We can and must do better.

Will look into them, thanks! I don’t think lockups need to be long, it’s okay to acknowledge that these memes have an expiration but there should be mechanisms in place to make it a bit more fair

This is an old concept — Multiple contracts/chains based on this thesis launched in 2019 (CER, MWC, HEX). People (bad investors) don't like long lockups, but HEX is probably the only token from this batch that's still going strong.

imagine a memecoin that paid you in stables 

people seem to be loving the pump fun bonding curve 

1. token launches on a large bonding curve 
2. at a certain marketcap, you can swap token for usdc for being early
3. equivalent in tokens is burnt 
4. people can continue degening on remaining supply if they actually think the token will accrue attention, holders don’t jeet, etc

Running a token sucks. It’s difficult af and if your token dies you get nothing. 

Change the model.

We shift our attention & gamble on early stage project tokens > builders take notice it might be worth building long term vs launching memecoins > we get more legit builders to build legit projects > less rugs
