but the blockchain isn't what makes it different really it's the mechanism of micropayments (and collecting)

Collecting doesn’t hold up when most people never look back at or have any use for the things they’ve collected Wallets have become junk drawers and that’s largely because people just mint a bunch of stuff and forget about it because they don’t really value it that highly since they only paid 30 cents for it

i think you are right in most cases as of now but doesn't mean it's not "valuable" to the person when you have abundance, you won't be checking things everyday just like bookmarking regardless this is a new way for creators to get paid and for people to own a piece of something, there is def something there imo
