first impressions are everything & the 5 letter minimum was a dealbreaker. as someone who studies why people make the decisions they do, this one is truly lost on me. it's like a poor understanding of ux & social while they got a lot of other things right.

The team at Aave seems to be more finance-oriented than UX-oriented, so this makes sense. They were, and still remain, one of the ugliest DeFi products
