ETH mainnet is unusable again.

$150 in gas to make a swap.

On one hand this is extremely bullish for L2s and showing how far along they are.

On the other - it's really hard to see how any regular person ever uses mainnet during the bull market.

Also - a tx on BTC costs less than ETH... which is insane.

L2's need to build as L2's to some extent. A lot of L2 strategy is less about leveraging Ethereum, and more about building out standalone ecosystems with little concept of connected back to Ethereum (outside of any rollup which doesn't affect the end user in most cases).
