When I was a kid growing up in the 90s there was this place called the village mall that offered 1.50 movies

Parents would drop us off for a few hours and we’d walk around this half shuttered mall until the movie time

Truly some great memories

The 90s were a really weird time cause wdym you drop your kids off with no means of communication and just hope they are there when you get back 😅

My dad often outright forgot me places, and his job lent itself well to being unavailable.

In the 1800s ten year olds were running teams of horses to plow fields lol.  Kids can be way more capable than most ppl think.
