"𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲" Veridise, a blockchain security company, found that 55% of zero-knowledge (ZK) audits had critical issues, while only 27.5% of other DeFi audits had such problems. ZK technology (which lets you prove something without revealing details) is a relatively new technology and it seems it has a lot of bugs in the code that could potentially be exploited. Most audits found issues with faulty logic, messy code, and data checking, while ZK audits also had a unique problem (underconstrained circuits) that could let attackers exploit the system.
