“Passive income” is almost always a trap to get unwitting first cyclers to be exit liquidity If someone is doing math along the lines of “just by holding/staking/whatever I’m making X per day, which is Y per year, which is insane!!” they’re probably soon going to be humbled You *can* make mostly passive income in crypto, but the yield is usually like 5-15% Always always always ask “where is the yield coming from”, and if you don’t have a good answer for it.. run Lastly, if it sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is

Copywriting is an invaluable skill, but it is also one that is being speed run into oblivion by AI It was actually already speed running to oblivion before AI as the number of people copywriting exploded in recent years, not least because the most common thing people wrote about was “how to be a copywriter” 🙄 The nice thing now is that the floor has risen so basically everyone can write decently with the help of a robot — but if you want to take it to the next level, you have to inject some humanity and be original and unique Show some flaws. Tell your story. Be relatable. Stand out from an exponentially growing crowd. Tell the truth. Basically, wear your emotions on your sleeve and be unabashedly human. Your content game will go far, and as a bonus, you won’t bore the internet to death!

I’ve always found it a little perplexing how much weight people tend to put on “the 4 year cycle” of crypto Maybe there’s now a significant self fulfilling prophecy element to it all, but it’s a hell of a lot of conviction based on something with a sample size of… 3? And now you have people cherry picking graphs from random years in the past that kinda look like the charts today, chosen over some arbitrary timeframe, and talking about how the number is going to go in the same direction it did last time this happened

Money generally flows from the impatient to the patient You can actually make (or save) soooo much money by practicing a little patience: - Set limit orders over market buying the top - Choose NOT to buy something - Compound gains over the long term You don’t have to find a 100x to make it. Chances are every time you try, you’re just getting further away from your goals. I should know, I’m often impatient and would do a whole lot better if I had more self control wrt aping the top of random things 🙃

yup - and last cycle the bitcoin ATH was $69k, but it was only above $65k for like four days lol the chances of selling even close to that (especially for your entire portfolio) were basically zero
