I really really really hate there is an add in the middle of the page I have to get past to read that...
Really?

If it is broke I like to fix it. Cars, relationships, lawn mowers, self esteem,  ...

What’s the ad? Can you share a screenshot please? I didn’t add any and it’s a free newsletter, maybe Substack is inserting them.

Weird, 30,000 people have read it and nobody else reported such an issue.

The add was a floating window that I could not get past without clicking on it closed.
I stopped trying and closed everything never even had the chance to read the article.
Pretty sure it was "subscribe to ..."
Or "join ..."
Or "spam my email..."

Something like that.
