and don’t spend that much time polishing it, for that you risk getting stuck imagining a bigger outcome that shall never see the light of day. We’ve all been guilty of shelving ideas because the planning takes over and the seeds end up molding.

to avoid distractions create alignment. Alignment between the created thing and bigger themes in our lives. Creations that don’t belong to a forest ecosystem die and go extinct fast, and are a waste of universal energy at the grand scheme of things—don’t let your creations be like that. Have them cohabitate with other creations and creatures that can pull them up over time.

i have a “zip” theory for this: if you do life right, you should get a feeling that you’re zipping through a bunch of things smoothly from your death bed. Every single event in your life leading to any sort of creative act would’ve been part of a bigger web that you’ve been mindfully netting all along. The satisfaction that should come from that would make life well worth it pain and suffering included, as any one of such events would’ve ideally led to the “zip” conclusion at the very end.
