I'm realizing that there are two major "factions" within the greater crypto industry: - memecoin crypto - stablecoin crypto This is good because dissolution of a monolith is evidence of growth I think FC generally belongs to the latter camp (which tends to be more serious and production capital oriented)

I'd argue it's always been this way, and that Farcaster seems to be somewhere in the middle of those factions. Pre-bull market, our network was entirely builders who didn't talk about speculation much at all. As the bull market arrived, 99% of my timeline became people talking about meme coins. I don't view this as a bad thing; just calling it how I see it. I think we're all in crypto because we see it as a new way to create and capture value. And each of us will do that in different ways.
