Thought experiment: if after today, the only information you can access is from before today, would you enjoy the internet (and the world in general) more or less. There’s definitely more out there than one could ever consume in a lifetime.

My gut reaction is that I’d like the Internet more because there would be less noise and it would be easier for me to search through old primary source material

That said, most of the things that excite me about the Internet are the new things so this is definitely a tough call
