yes, while I agree this is true, the bigger allowance someone has, the more tips they are likely to receive, but you make a very fair point 50 $degen

mario kart famously uses rubber banding and other tricks to drive players towards the middle, where the game is fun and active. pack leaders get fewer perks, pack followers get better perks, and speed fuckery compresses the range (ie, we're all fighting for 4th-9th place)

we want a more normal distribution to the staking curve (less top heavy at least) and so whales need headwinds and eligible tails need lift

I have a huge amount of respect for @wake.eth @ted @adrienne @nounishprof and yourself.  These are some of the biggest shapers of culture on Farcaster.  Each deserves to receive a large share of tips based on incredible contributions to the network.  I have tipped every single one because all of them have empowered me through their knowledge shared via Hypersub, Unlonely, FarHouse, AlfaFrens, Warpcast, and more. This new allocation distribution benefits me.  It’s the bottom that will get squeezed.  Wake gave an incredible analogy yesterday about “Mario Kart using rubber banding and other tricks to drive players towards the middle.”  Something like this may be needed to keep as many people engaged as possible.  I’m excited about this new season and am doing my best to understand the nuances so I understand how my peers will be affected.  200 $degen

Appreciate the tip and the comment.

It seems however, that for people I know of with decent tip allocations, did not receive large amounts of tips.

Not my experience at all. I give away way more than I receive. There really isn’t a correlation unless you’re doing some kind of tip for tip.
