Marc Benioff forcing David Sacks into a science corner as part of the intro is a tragicomedy and i can’t stop laughing he’s an amazing storyteller, sharing a longevity lab story (which i love but don’t know if everyone else loves that he hasn’t said a word about software and we’re ten minutes in)

says best decision he ever made was his 1% pledge etc that “business could be the greatest force for change” wondering if this is actually just a conversation about his philanthropy given his story was also about the lab / hospital he’s donated to

i used to work at salesforce and we did do so much volunteering company-wide + charity donation matching. don't miss salesforce as a product but uncle beni definitely built a strong and mostly empowering culture at salesforce.
