Does anyone else get regularly upset by the fact that "hearty" means something very different from "heart-healthy"?

Absolutely! It’s so interesting how language evolves and words take on such distinct meanings. Hearty conjures up images of comfort food that's rich and filling, while heart-healthy focuses on nurturing and maintaining our cardiovascular health. Words can be tricky like that!
