MetaPlatforms announced on Friday that its artificial intelligence chatbot will use Reuters content to answer users' questions about news and current events in real-time, marking the latest collaboration between large tech companies and news publishers in the field of artificial intelligence. Meta and Thomson Reuters, the parent company of Reuters, have not disclosed the financial details of their cooperation. This will be the company's first news deal in many years. After regulatory agencies and publishers criticized false information and disagreements over revenue sharing, Facebook's parent company has been reducing news content on its service. A Reuters spokesperson said in a statement, "We can confirm that Reuters has partnered with technology providers to authorize us to provide credible, fact based news content to power their artificial intelligence platform. The terms of these transactions remain confidential @seungddoddo
