Co-founder and former Chief Scientist of OpenAI, Ilya Sutskever, is creating a new artificial intelligence company called Safe Superintelligence. The firm focuses on developing "safe superintelligence."

The co-founders of the startup are former OpenAI developer Daniel Levy and former head of AI at Apple, Daniel Gross.

Sutskever left OpenAI in May after nearly ten years of work. He is considered one of the initiators of the dismissal of the company's CEO, Sam Altman, last November. The leading AI startup developer was removed from the company's board after the return of the ousted CEO.
