When you're a short girl, losing weight is seriously painful. Lately I'm losing a half pound a week, which I will take, but holy crap this is slow af. That said, started seriously in May 2024, then had surgery and was laid out, and I'm down 14 lbs overall. Really proud of my slow and steady consistency.

This is all the while enjoying myself at Christmas, New Years, Hanukkah latkes, and dining out regularly. I've been using the Lose It app for tracking plus my garmin watch for workouts. Biggest recommendation to stay on track is CSE's clear protein powder - https://cleansimpleeats.com/collections/clear-protein-powder

I love the lose it app vs others. I would pay for the premium every year because they’d offer 50% off during thanksgiving, but actually bought the lifetime subscription 3 years ago. I’m on like a 3 year streak of logging in food. LOL. I love the macro it provides for protein and carbs. Lose It App + FitBit has been my go to. I will check out Protein Powder.

Same - it's a really great app. I love the ability to import recipes to figure out calories. When I go to a restaurant it's much easier to find a recipe that's similar than log a generic supermarket food. Goals for this year beyond goal weight are increase in muscle mass. That powder is so good no lie
