Hillbilly Elegy was a good book. (Don’t know about the movie.) Any opportunistic trashing of it now is just cope.

I liked the movie.  JD seemed like he was OK not too long ago, and I'm happy for his pro-crypto stance, but I can't take anyone seriously whose gone from this to full Trump loyalist.

During Trump’s first term, I thought it and Between the World and Me were required reading to understand the mindset of both MAGA and BLM movements. Still think that. Both great books.
