For May there were 3,153 games tracked on Footprint. Of those, 263 have more than 1000 MAU making up 8.2% of the total. This number shrinks substantially more if we were to raise the benchmark of 10,000 MAU. Now it's important to note these are strictly on-chain users. Many games allow users to play without having to sign in with their wallet while still incorporating Web3 elements. This data is hard to get currently and can possibly skew the true player amount.
