Best tips for indoor plants? Assume I have solid light and air flow. Always feels like the watering is tricky.

Most people over water. If they are sad and the soil is moist, that’s the issue.

This. The key is the right amount of neglect. It’s much easier to bring a dry plant back to life than an overwatered one - there’s a good chance the roots are already rotting if it’s overwatered too much. That said, a pot with good drainage is also important

A lot of pots will let you remove the bottom disk that catches the water. I like to take those off when possible, set in a sink or tub when watering, and let it sit there a while to let it fully drain so there’s no sitting water. For pots without drainage- less water, less often. Don’t soak the soil 👍🏼
