ok, maybe i wasn't clear enough. i don't sell any of the airdrops i've received from farcaster — they're all just sitting on my warplet and not going anywhere. but i don't like having my miniapp library full of stuff i don't actually use, so once i claim an airdrop, i'll usually delete the app if it doesn't feel useful for me (why would i have a walletconnect miniapp, for example?). same goes for following accounts — i don't like following people or products i'm not genuinely interested in. that said, farcaster really encourages you to claim your airdrops — you even get a notification for it. so my question is: is it bad to complete the claim steps and then delete the apps or unfollow the accounts afterward?

imho airdrops are paying for your attention to see if it's something for you. the farcaster dished out ones I think will get MORE targeted to certain things so it's more valuable to the company/app doing it vs just "please try it" but you're getting paid per your attention. no obligation after that.

Imo this is a “charge it to the game” scenario If they don’t want to airdrop people who delete the apps, and only true users then they should change criteria

I like to give the miniapp or product a fair chance at being useful If I try it and I don't like it I'll still hold the tokens but I often delete the mini app as well I think this is fair behavior The mini app gets used at least initially , the token gets held And everyone can move on peaceful

it's what everyone should do unless they are actively using the apps tbh, and any good company or team would never punish the behavior why encourage us to have a whole miniapp library of spam?

The only one I’ve received is Bracky and I’m not into sports or gambling. Doesn’t make much sense why that would affect an airdrop for something like CELO that isn’t related in any way to that.

I keep all the mini apps on the off chance I see a notification that changes my mind. What if one day, all those yos are worth $1 each but only if you catch the notif in the first 10 minutes 🤣🤣🤣 Could never be me. I'm used to lists and lists of spam.

In my case, it depends. Sometimes, I buy the tokens to try their products, and other times, I do what you have said. Do all apps need a coin? I don't think so, but that's where we are now.
