the thing that's missing from all of the ETH UX conversations is: smart defaults

It's nearly impossible for new users to figure out the ETH landscape. There are too many L2s and too many flavors of the same token.

I urge anyone working on consumer-oriented products or interfaces on ETH to stop giving users unlimited choices and make decisions for them. Define smart defaults so the overall ecosystem becomes easier for new users to use. Doing so will dramatically increase ETH's likelihood of success
