bull runs may drive a wave of adoption, but without stickiness, apps will face inevitable churn we are 66% done with onboarding 1 billion users to crypto (state of crypto report by a16z) but we still have a major retention problem: only 5-10% end up actively engaging in onchain activities the problem for crypto isn’t user acquisition, it is retention

the thing is, explore pages in wallets and major crypto publications still look like old zines full of sponsored content and ads… failing to guide users toward the most engaging on-chain activities we have a million fun things to do onchain - from memecoins to music, art, podcasts, and advanced defi products, there’s something for every risk appetite. but discovery is broken, and user experiences lack personalization

personalized discovery is the most powerful way to increase retention, slash acquisition costs, and drive virality. This is how TikTok disrupted Instagram, how Netflix crushed other streamers, and why Amazon dominates e-commerce. as industries mature, only products with the tightest feedback loops survive, and there’s an opportunity for wallets and social apps to take the lead. we’re thinking about this very hard and we would love to chat!
