Polygon has overtaken Ethereum in terms of NFT sales!

While everyone is paying attention to the bitcoin exchange rate, a mini-revolution is taking place in the NFT. For the first time in its history, the D2 network surpassed D1 in terms of volume and number of customers (39k and 36k).

In the week before April 22:
— Polygon: $22.1 million
— Ethereum: $21.8 million

The top engine is Courtyard, an RWA project with physical cards (Pokémon, sports) that turn into NFTs. $20 million in sales per week, $2.7 million in one day.

ETH holders are unhappy: L2 networks are pulling traffic and value. But Polygon is still connected to Ethereum via EVM.
