Right! But to me, the friction of using a CC — something you presumably use all the time online — is nothing for you compared to the friction of a wallet for someone who isn’t already in crypto We have made a strategic decision on how to start based on our experiences and beliefs

I think that will change with time but it's not our fight We see a better way for creative people to work. We figured out new ways to do earnings splits, portable output, and all kinds of crypto-like things without crypto rails to help do it Longterm these paths may converge but creative work is our major, not crypto

Metalabel's mission is to help creative people co-release and collect creative work We started off exploring crypto but it was always our minor not our major We moved to a different set of decentralized rails last year (Decentralized Identifiers + public APIs) that are v consumer friendly and longterm modular
