Google Maps Offline: Download maps of your destination for offline use. This can be a lifesaver when you don’t have access to data or Wi-Fi. Your phone can still use your GPS location from the cellular connection as long as the maps are downloaded ahead of time to your phone!

I use this one a lot, also works to save battery, put your phone in airplane mode and still use the map.
