It extends Ether through a cryptographic protocol called STARK without compromising Ether's core principles: breadth (i.e., 'decentralization'), transparency, inclusiveness, and security. 🐺 Starknet tokens enable those who contribute to the success of the ecosystem to participate in the governance, ongoing operation, and security maintenance of Starknet. tokens are used for governance, to pay for Starknet transaction fees, and to participate in Starknet's consensus mechanism.

🥕 Kakarot Public Testnet Phase is live!🥕 There is a good news Kakarot ZkEVM announced that they launched testnet here: x.com/KakarotZkEvm... And you can claim you testnet ETH here: sepolia-faucet.kakarot.org/faucet Bad news nothing works now Kakarot is a zkEVM based on Starknet and Cairo. It enables StarknetOS chains to be EVM-compatible (short-term) and serves as the modular backbone to an EVM validium RaaS stack (medium-term). Long-term, with Starkware's tech, Kakarot aims to be the most performant zkEVM type 1 client, proving all Ethereum blocks and transactions.

People may be pessimistic about the future of @Starknet and $STRK, but I am very interested in itIn 2025, if the OP-CAT proposal is approved, Starknet will become the first no trust roll on the Bitcoin network. Starknet will be the second layer of #Ethereum and #Bitcoin.

Kakarot is a zkEVM network based on Starknet, and recently announced that the public testing network has been launched. Now, any user can collect test network tokens through faucet and join this network without the need for a whitelist.In addition to launching the public testing network, Kakarot also plans to launch a testing network community points system and plans to deploy it on Starknet Sepolia later in the summer, making it the first dual virtual machine (VM) ZK Rollup (zero knowledge aggregation supporting EVM and CairoVM).

9 days. IMHO priority is an improvement, at least in my situation. I suspect I won't be opening the WC app as often, but my relationship with it will be healthier. Serendipity may suffer... there are some funny newbs. I wouldn't want to start WC with PM. I'd prefer to see the noise before filtering it. ty @dwr.eth @v

In the last cycle I would have had a hard time recommending any wallet to new users. Even @rainbow, my go-to for years was just that little bit too advanced for newbies. Now, I feel like with just a little instruction I could recommend Rainbow to anyone.

Picked up this book hoping it would be the equivalent of "Designing Data-Intensive Applications" for React. Was disappointed - 80% of it was beginner stuff, maybe 20% was intermediate. You'll figure out most of this on your own by the time you hit 10k users. It's a good beginner book, but not what I was hoping for.
