I appreciate: 1. touching grass and spending time with kids, self-learning how to skate this weekend. 2. being amazed how fast kids can self-learn, watching their curiosity and adaptability in action is truly inspiring. 3. that we are able to make the most of thr first weekend of the year, feels like a great start to 2025💪

Ever since we started coding We’ve built something- • that lets post contents via extension in DeSo as hackathon • import tweets over to bsky • lens username marketplace (never launched), also not finished • hackathon for blast network • Wordpress plug-in for one of the NFT project Now: Meme Mania for Lens Holiday Hackathon. I don’t believe in cloning Netflix, Spotify, etc when you’re starting to build. Think about ideas and just keep iterating over and over. Stop working when you realize it’s not a market fit. Shift ideas. Like I mean do tons of shit & experiment.

Things like this are a big part of why I'm skeptical of just putting a single AI in charge of things (eg. DAOs, funding mechanisms), and favor an open market where many AIs can participate and humans judge AIs based on some sample of outcomes.

vitalik.eth 1d It's not enough to be "the third thing". There are so many possible third things that at times different people's proposed "third things" end up being almost exact opposites of each other. The vibe of being "the third alternative to escape the binary" is appealing, but it has to be matched with the right substance.

你研究基本面，你就是基本面。 你琢磨项目，项目方琢磨你。 可以对新鲜事物、价值项目，保持学习的态度，但一定不能走火入魔。 曾经我也痴迷于研究区块链项目，琢磨晦涩难懂的底层原理，各种新奇的NFT协议，还时常找人请教学习，觉得L2/模块化/账户抽象等等才是区块链的未来，铭文这种东西就是骗傻子的。后来币价走出来，我就老实了。 要想抓alpha赚钱，还是直接点，找热点，找当下资金偏好。 普通人应该对于区块链，web3这些宏大叙事逐渐祛魅，不是说这些没有意义，而是对于我来说，我太弱小了，没办法看到更远的未来，当下的我应该想的是怎么赚到更多的钱，web3的未来留给大佬们去思考，去build。
