Failed summiting Mt Rainer in 2021. Came back last weekend and was part of the guided team that had the first successful summit this season

thinking of doing this! which guide company did u do it w? mind sharing what made the first summit unsuccessful?

RMI expeditions! Three things;

1) Not having good double boots
2) Not being prepared to endure 35 mph winds for hours
3) Not physically strong enough - first day youre carrying a 50lb pack up 4k ft (but you should be set here with your 70.3 prep)
