The "AI alignment" problem is impossible to solve because humanity has not been able to solve it for the whole existance of our species. 

AI will never be aligned with humanity simply because humanity itself is not internally or existentially aligned with their own global / local interests. thus we have a human history full of wars and strife and suffering. 

That history is a testament of humanity completely and fully failing to align on its own interests. even fudamental physics teaches us that absolute alignment is not possible, because even in bose condensate, where every atom is aligned and behave as one wave, there is chance of breaking the wave.

What AI scientists are trying to do is make seething and foaming sea on room temperature to behave like bose condensate.
