could one paste the bounty link with a reminder in the markdown of the issue? and create labels in github for the issue to be flagged as "paid bounty attached"

Yeah, could work. But would be great if the bounty actually shows up on the Issue, so others might also chip in

generally seen people just post the github issue link + bounty here on bountycaster for it
