Like many such cases with technology, I believe VALL-E 2 started out as a benevolent project aimed at exploring the depths of AI.. and then somewhere along the way turned into something so dangerous that it now must be contained. I’m not sure if AI or humans are ultimately responsible for this, but this is a prime example as to why I’m not the biggest fan of AI in general. Its capabilities have the potential to cause more harm than good to humans (if not very careful).

Thank you for participating in my competition again (not so much competition yet, but even better for you 🙂 🙃 ) Yes, I can believe our AI geniuses have good intentions at the beginning. Maybe with AI, we need a better education model. We may need to teach engineers how science and technology affect us, our everyday lives, dreams, relationships, careers, and politics - and how many times it went wrong in the past...

I think education is key! But how do we scale something that keeps advancing? Can we keep up with it? VALL-E 2 says no.. I like your competitions btw. I think they’re great! Keep up the good work ☺️

I agree. We cannot keep up, if we continue what we do now. That is why I'm in the safety movement, including Pause AI, and I have /p-doom channel. Btw, do you want some free $p-doom? (no pressure)
