It also feels really weird to be so present on a network going through such an eb and flow of finding its first cohort of 1M sticky users. There was never a period of time when I first started using social media apps (FB, Twitter, IG) where there wasn't an endless sea of people to tap in with. FC is in this weird place where a lot of people came, tried it a few times, and then left. Usage feels extremely correlated to the price of the biggest tokens that stemmed out of the network and it creates this weird feeling like it's empty when in reality its not. Hard to describe in words but there's a psychological impact on engagement rn that feels tough to break out of.

What’s mind boggling to me is why people leave fc to begin with.. You can literally monetize here just by showing up. No followers needed.. I know of no other platform where that happens, so I’m a bit perplexed as to why ppl leave + why the rest of the world has not caught on yet. if you’re gonna be on social media all day anyway, might as well get paid for it - that’s just my philosophy..
