Writing a series bible is enough to make you never write a pilot again.

Only ever written one, it actually helped me plan out the remaining five episodes of the series that I never wrote because nobody seemed to want to take the project on. The amount of work that goes into some I've seen is ludicrous, though. Kudos to the writers who can knock those out AND then have enough energy to actually write the episode screenplays.

Yes, STRANGER THINGS is another good one. Impressive in its Stephen King novel presentation.

Haven't read that one, will have to check it out.

Stranger Things one I remember thinking was quite good, but that also might have been the first one I read, and not knowing these things existed before,.might have been overly impressed.

I've always liked the opening like of the New Girl one (pitch doc maybe not bible) which is The working title of the show is "chicks with dicks" but obviously this isn't France so we'll have to change it. 

I've never seen the series but the pitch doc clearly worked.
