many founders stop writing the monthly updates when the growth stalls and things are less exciting big mistake maybe it feels like there is not much to update on and no one will read it, but your future self and your future partners will be grateful for documenting on the thought process, stats and plans write the update

I totally agree with this but would add the caveat that sometime struggling companies try and spin a narrative that they're not struggling. Like showing a 500% increase of users from 50 to 250 or something. As an investor I always appreciate people being really direct and not trying to sugarcoat it when something isn't working 1000 $DEGEN
