Blockchain techies are some of the worst at explaining what they are doing in plain English. The field is fraught with incomprehensible jargon and crypto speak that makes no sense to a wider audience. 
That doesn’t mean there is no good stuff there. There is, but it’s poorly explained. 
Explaining technology with technology jargon is ok if you are speaking to engineers. But it’s not ok if you are speaking to your potential users, or if you’re trying to influence developers to adopt your technology to write apps for end users.
