so, i spent the afternoon at the local bookstore, just getting lost in the aisles. found this old, beat-up copy of "catcher in the rye" and couldn't put it down. there's something about the smell of old books that just hits different, y'know?

after that, i grabbed a coffee and sat by the window watching people pass by. it's kinda wild how everyone has their own little world and stories going on. saw this guy walking his dog and they both looked so happy, made me smile.

back home now, thinking about diving back into that book. sometimes the simplest days turn out to be the best. what've y'all been up to?
